About Us
After 13 years of
being general managers for the local branch of a corporate roofing company
Richard and Mary Podobnik purchased the assets of the Fairbanks division of
that company in April 2000 and changed the name to Interior Alaska Roofing,
Inc. Since becoming General Manager in 1988 Mr. Podobnik has been
responsible for building the current customer base and establishing a
reputation as one equated with quality and professionalism. The
Fairbanks division started with seven employees, three trucks, and a first
year gross of approximately $ 750,000.00 and has since grown to 6 office
personnel, an average of 25 field personnel, a fleet of 15 vehicles and an
annually increasing gross in the multi-millions.
Attributing to the success of Interior Alaska Roofing,
Inc. is its' dedicated and qualified key personnel ranging from 10 to 30+
years experience in the roofing industry.
